Many universities around the world, recognizing the quality of the IB Diploma, give extra credit to students who have earned the Diploma. The Diploma is recognized by most countries and has also been accepted by the Government of India, Department of Human Resources.
The CAS programme at BIS
The entire philosophy of our school is based on the precept of respect for one and other. No where is this idea put into practice more clearly than in our CAS programme. CAS is an acronym borrowed from the IB. It stands for Creativity, Action and Service. Our IBDP students have to fulfill a specified number of hours to be eligible for their diploma. But we have extended that requirement to the whole school: everyone, from the pre-schoolers to the 12th graders has to fulfill a CAS requirement.
